Cumbria Community Foundation was set up to provide financial support to local charities and voluntary organisations in Cumbria to enable them to support their local communities.

So far, we have supported activities that bring people together and foster social connections. We’ve supported things such as sports training to encourage participation and wellbeing, improvements to community facilities, sports and play equipment, and projects that create new opportunities for young people in rural areas.

Organisations that are dedicated to supporting people facing challenges and making a positive impact in their communities are able to apply. The funds available each have their own criteria with most businesses supporting locally based community and voluntary groups. To find out more and to apply click here.
