Clocks change 29th March 2020

As the clocks change and we get lighter nights, the options for outdoor living are greater so get your self ready!

If you’ve got outdoor furniture then wipe down your chairs (minus the cushions) and tables with a mixture of warm water and a squirt of washing up liquid, wash off and then let them dry naturally. Patios will benefit from a pressure wash or just a good brush over with a hard bristled brush.

If your outdoor furniture cushions are in need of a little TLC then combine 1/4 cup (60 ml) washing up liquid and 1 cup (236.6 mm) bleach per gallon (3.8l) of water. Spray onto affected areas with a spray bottle, saturating the fabric. Try to do this on a sunny, dry day so the items can sit in the sun for 15 minutes, and then scrub gently with a soft-bristle brush until the marks disappear.

BBQ cleaning – check our BBQ post as that’s another job that goes to the bottom of the list but we’ve got some handy tips to make it less of a chore.

Please note these tips are suggestions only and haven’t necessarily been tested by ourselves.
