We’re excited to give you a first look at the Eden, a beautifully designed four-bedroom home that combines the charm of countryside living with contemporary interiors, thoughtful details and plenty of character.
The interiors have been designed by Kate Lawton-Yates of Territory Interior Design, who has carefully styled the Eden to create a warm and welcoming space that feels both timeless and fresh. Inspired by the surrounding landscape, the interiors bring together natural materials, layered textures and a carefully chosen colour palette to create a home you’ll love coming back to.
A home inspired by its surroundings
For the Eden, Kate wanted to create something that reflects the beauty of traditional countryside living while introducing a contemporary feel.
As Kate and the team at Territory Interior Design explain:
“For our latest View Home at Burgh by Sands, we wanted to create a contemporary take on traditional countryside living. A home that feels warm, welcoming and full of character, with a strong connection to the surrounding landscape.”
The design has been created with modern lifestyles in mind, imagining a home for those who love the outdoors, enjoy an active lifestyle and want to make the most of everything the local area has to offer. It’s a place to return to after a day exploring, with comfortable furnishings, natural materials and plenty of personality.
Thoughtful details and timeless style
Quality wooden furniture brings warmth and texture throughout the home, while floral details and traditional patterns add character. These classic touches are balanced with clean, contemporary lines and a softer colour palette, creating an interior that feels relaxed, inviting and effortlessly stylish.
Layered textures and a mix of traditional and modern pieces add depth and interest without making the spaces feel overly styled.
The colour palette takes inspiration from the surrounding landscape, with layered blues and greens complemented by unexpected touches of deep red and coral. These accents bring warmth, depth and individuality to the overall scheme.
The result is a home that feels thoughtfully put together while remaining comfortable and welcoming.
As Kate explains:
“Ultimately, we wanted to create a home that feels collected rather than coordinated. A mix of old and new, traditional and contemporary, with an emphasis on quality, comfort and individuality.”
