We were delighted to recently reinforce our commitment to community investment by supporting Kirkby Lonsdale Rugby Club’s Youth Festival for the Under 7 & 8 and Under 9 & 10 teams, as well as contributing towards commemorative hoodies for children taking part in the club’s Rugby Tour.
The support enabled the club to present medals to every participant and award a ‘Player of the Tournament’ prize for each age group. Young teams from Wensleydale, Huddersfield, Lymm, Creighton and Penrith all took part, creating a vibrant celebration of grassroots sport. The commemorative hoodies provided for the Under 12’s Rugby Tour will serve as a lasting memento for the young players – a reminder of teamwork, friendship and the joy of taking part.
Phil Stephenson, Chair of Mini and Youth and a member of the Club’s Committee, said: “Both events were a huge success. Thank you for your support, it means a lot to us and allows these events to be put on.”
