WE are delighted to announce that Jason Green, a corporate financier with previous experience of running a house building company, has been appointed as a Non-Executive Director at Genesis Homes.
Jason has worked in corporate finance in London for more than 25 years, and we are thrilled he is sharing the wealth of knowledge he has amassed in the field with us as we continue to grow as a business.
He was previously CEO of a house building business before returning to corporate finance, and it is through links with the Home Builders Federation that he met our Managing Director Nicky Gordon.
A strong business relationship was forged and Nicky was keen to lean on Jason’s financial expertise to help grow the business even further.
Jason said: “I was instantly impressed with Genesis Homes on meeting Nicky. I like the product, the team and the way they always try to do things right and with so much passion rather than just ticking the boxes.
“The commitment to delivering the end goal of creating top quality homes really resonated with me, and they have shown great innovation by harnessing smart technology in their homes wherever possible.
“I will assist the company with the financial side of the business, as well as a bit of governance and strategy, and I’m pleased to be able to help a business I have so much respect for.

Since being formed in 2017, Genesis Homes has grown exponentially and acquired south Cumbrian housebuilder Russell Armer Homes in 2021.
We have aspirations to continue our rapid rate of expansion and we are currently planning to build more than 750 new homes. The addition of Jason as a Non-Executive Director will help the company reach its goals.
Jason is very knowledgeable about finance and has a wealth of experience working at some top firms in London, so he will be a great asset to the team as we forge ahead with ambitious plans to grow.
