Delight at three nominations in prestigious Residential Property Awards

WE see it first hand every day, and now the hard work and high standard of work from the Genesis Homes team has been recognised by judges in the prestigious North West Residential Property Awards.

We are absolutely blown away to be shortlisted in three categories at the awards run by Insider Media which celebrate the best of property and construction across the entire region, from Cumbria in the north right down to Cheshire with Merseyside, Greater Manchester and Lancashire included.

To be shortlisted as Housebuilder of the Year among some of the country’s ‘big hitters’ is testament to the rapid progress we have made as a company over the past five years since our formation. Previous winners include Redrow, Kingswood Homes and Anwyl Homes.

And we are in the running on merit as we have shown in those five years that the new homes we have built, and continue to build, are in high demand due to the high level of build aesthetics and implementation of popular features, such as high energy efficiency levels and large garden spaces.

There are eight other top housebuilders in the category and to receive a nomination in such a competitive field is something the entire team at Genesis Homes is extremely proud of.

Our flagship pilot ‘EcoGen’ project – 16 net-zero carbon emitting smart homes built in the village of Calthwaite – has attracted national media attention due to it being a frontrunner in the UK sustainable housing sector.

The Pennine View development was a bold step for Genesis Homes but the endless hours of research, planning and development have been justified by the positive response from homeowners wanting to make a real difference and help reduce their carbon footprint to slow the climate crisis. Not to mention the significant saving on their bills too!

To receive praise for this pioneering development in the form of nominations in both the Boutique Housing Development of the Year and Sustainability and Social Impact categories is particularly pleasing.

Again, we are up against some excellent developments from some really inspirational housebuilders but to receive the recognition from judges at the top awards for home builders in the region is rewarding, and is justification for the amount of hard work we pour into each and every one of our developments.

We look forward to the glittering, black tie awards ceremony at Manchester Central in January.

Wish us luck!
