Genesis Homes plans for rapid business growth have been given a boost with the appointment of an Operations Director with almost 40 years of experience in the industry.

We have welcomed Andy Patmore to lead and support the company’s construction and commercial teams, as part of the business’ plans to build on its growing success.

Andy brings a wealth of experience to the role having held management positions at Lovell Homes, Persimmon Homes and Gleeson Homes.

His appointment comes at a key time for Genesis Homes which has sites in construction at Rheda North Park, Hackthorpe and Stainburn, with other developments in Calthwaite, Penrith, Etterby and Lazonby in the pipeline to commence this year.

Andy said he was excited at the prospect of working for a progressive company with such a bright future.

He added: “I am happy to be working for such an ambitious and forward thinking company in what is a very exciting time for Genesis Homes.

“There is a lot planned in the coming weeks and months, and I will use the knowledge and experience I have acquired over the decades to help the business to grow and develop in line with its exciting and ambitious business plan.

“It is nice to be working for a company that is open to new ideas and new concepts, and I can’t wait to work more closely with the team.”

Genesis Homes’ Managing Director Nicky Gordon was delighted to welcome Andy on board at a pivotal time for the business, and said he had all the right skill sets to help take the company to the next level.

Mr Gordon said: “Andy joins Genesis Homes at a time of rapid growth for the business, and we’re delighted to welcome someone with his experience and knowledge of the industry into our team.

“His role in guiding teams working on our existing developments and preparing for upcoming projects will be crucial, and we know the excellent organisational skills he has acquired over decades will be of a huge benefit to Genesis Homes.”

Andy will also be overseeing projects in south Cumbria under the Russell Armer Homes brand after the business was acquired by Genesis Homes earlier this year.
