We recently welcomed local stakeholders, community groups and organisations to Sandsfield Way in Carlisle for our Summer Gathering – our first stakeholder and community event at the development.
The event provided an opportunity to celebrate the opening of our new show homes, give guests a closer look at the development and share more about our plans for a strong and lasting presence in Carlisle.
Guests enjoyed an afternoon of networking, refreshments and conversations with the Genesis Homes team, alongside tours of our show homes and the development with our Site Manager, Rob. There was also plenty to enjoy from local businesses, including refreshing mocktails from The Fuzzy Duck, ice cream from Katy’s in the Lakes and light bites from Cranstons at Orton Grange – some of which we were pleased to donate to Carlisle Youth Zone for their members to enjoy that evening!
The event also highlighted some of the ways we are already making a positive contribution to the local community, from volunteering with the Rock Youth Project and supporting Carlisle Youth Zone, to working with local schools, sports clubs and community organisations.
We’re also proud to be working with The Rebuild Site to give surplus construction materials a new lease of life, helping to reduce waste while supporting community projects.
With several developments underway and more planned across the Carlisle area, we’re looking forward to continuing to build strong relationships with local communities, businesses and organisations – and making a positive contribution to the city for years to come.
