Community at Nancy Meadows

CGI of Nancy Meadows new homes development in Kendal by Genesis Homes

We’re busy building 89 new homes at our Nancy Meadows development on the outskirts of Kendal with the final home due to be completed around Winter 2028.

Our contemporary and characterful range of homes include a mix of 2, 3, 4 & 5-bedrooms with a high specification, solar panels and EV chargers as standard.

While this is the debut of the Genesis Homes range in the town, we are no stranger to the area, having delivered the neighbouring Russell Armer Meadow Rigg development over the past few years.

We’re proud to say that Nancy Meadows and Meadow Rigg will significantly contribute to the wider community:

  • Over £1 million to support community infrastructure
  • 45 affordable homes across both developments
  • A £50,000 contribution to a local play area
  • £277,000 for off-site drainage infrastructure works
  • £6,600 towards the monitoring and delivery of local sustainable travel initiatives
Stay in the loop with events, community initiatives, construction updates and more by joining our dedicated Nancy Meadows community mailing list. Email communities@genesis-homes.co.uk to sign up.

Give A Day Kendal

We were delighted to be involved with Give A Day Kendal, volunteering across two projects to make a difference to the town and positively impact the local community. One day we had torrential rain and the other we had sunshine – it was our pleasure to be part of both!

We were pleased to sponsor Kendal County FC’s Golf Day in September 2026. The community-focused event brought together local players, businesses and organisations for a great day of golf, while raising valuable funds for the club.
