Job Title: Customer Services Maintenance Technician

Hours: Full time & Part time available

Location: Penrith & communting around developments. A vehicle will be provided.

Reports to: Customer Services Manager

 

What is the role?

The Customer Services Maintenance Technician role will provide a variety of high-quality remedial and maintenance works for customers in their new homes, ensuring issues are resolved efficiently and delivering reliable repairs that help customers settle in with confidence.

 

Principal Duties: 

  •      As part of our Customer Services Team, you will be responsible to manage and prioritise workloads in order to complete high-quality works in a timely manner and in accordance with set SLA’s.
  •      Visiting Customers at home to undertake a range of remedial work (which can include carpentry, decorating, plastering);
  •      Carry out planned maintenance and repair improvements to occupied properties;
  •      Diagnose and repair faults;
  •      Maintain the cleanliness of working areas;
  •      Work safely, ensuring safety and well-being of yourself, customers and colleagues;
  •      A keen eye for detail and finish will be vital.

 

Key Experience, Skills & Competencies

  •      Must be an experienced, competent person and confident communicator, have a positive outlook, be conscientious and enjoy problem solving;
  •      Ability to be competent in all aspects of homeowner maintenance, including maintenance of machines and tools
  •      Painting and Joinery experience is required
  •      Be self-motivated and able to work from own initiative;
  •      Excellent communication skills; able to liaise with people on a personal level;
  •      Must hold a full Driving Licence; valid to drive in the UK;
  •      Must hold a relevant CSCS card;
