Shake it up with a cocktail!
The nights are getting darker and it’s a little nippy out there. How about shaking things up a little with a warming cocktail?
There is a fabulous cocktail called ‘Genesis’. Here’s how you make it:
GENESIS COCKTAIL
Mix together:
- 40ml Bacardi gold rum
- 10ml apricot brandy
- 20ml (fresh if possible) lime juice
- 10ml Monin lemongrass syrup
- 40ml Prosecco
- Rosemary to garnish, serve cold
CLASSIC MARGARITA
Vigorously shake together for 10-15 seconds:
- 35ml tequila
- 20ml Cointreau
- 35ml lime juice
- Handful of ice cubes
Dampen a glass rim with water and dip into salt. Pour cocktail into a glass and serve with a slice of lime.
